Update

The Young Adults at my church recently started our "Biggest Loser" competition. For those who don't follow the show, teams basically compete by losing the most weight. A church friend suggested we do something similar since we've been getting rounder. HA! Since starting the competition, I've been working out (cardio and weightlifting) on a regular basis. I also follow a low-carb, all-natural meal plan. It feels great getting back into shape. In high school, I use to be such a gym buff, but I lost the drive during my undergraduate career. It's good to be back in the game. I hope to shed all the weight I gained during college. It'd be nice to see my old high school figure.

Most people know I've been wanting a bulldog puppy. Recently, my urge for a canine companion has grown tremendously. I never had pets growing up because my sister had a serious case of asthma, so I don't know the feeling of owning a pet. I've known I wanted a dog, but never the kind until the present. My love for the bulldog started after an episode of "Rob & Big". Rob is the proud owner of a bulldog named Meaty. Meaty craves just enough attention, is not high maintenance, and has a overall chill personality. Basically, all the characteristics I've wanted in a dog. So now, I want...No! I NEED a bulldog puppy. I always bug the boyfriend about my puppy, but to my dismay, he denies me of living a childhood fantasy. Now, I can only dream about coming home to a wagging tail....

How can you say no to this face???!!!

Ate Michelle's Wedding

This weekend, I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding. I've been anticipating the wedding for a while now because I've never been a bridesmaid. Flower girl....yes. Bridesmaid....no. In addition, I was excited for my favorite cousin to finally marry the man of her dreams, Zoltan. Yes, that's right. I have a new cousin Zoltan. Anyways, I enjoyed every minute in the process of getting ready. Having Colleen do my hair. Getting my makeup done. Riding in the limo with the rest of the bridal party. Seeing my name in the program. Helping my cousin getting ready for her big day. The ceremony took place at the gorgeous LA Cathedral. Small and intimate. I honestly thought I would weep profusely watching my Ate walk down the aisle. I realized that she's a member of my family, so the whole serious walk obviously did not happen. She posed the entire way until she reached the altar. Ay nako! The reception took place at the Sheraton Universal. I had so much fun just being with my family dancing and catching up. Parties like this always remind me how much I miss being in their company.

CONGRATULATIONS MR. & MRS. KERTLAY!
